    Love to photograph! Used to do K-12 school student photographs! YUK! Lights were hot, continuous lines of children, lugging all that equiment around! Am learning lifestyle, casual-type portraits using natrual light. Would love any critiques and helpful hints you can send my way. Thank you.

    I like this moody shot. I think it has a story to tell -especially with the title. The frost on the trees adds to the overall image. I think it is a little dark in the shadow detail. Try and pull some of them out (if shooting RAW) using the Shadow slider in LR or similar. Consider a human element next time ...a lonely person walking by may be of interest.
