    I really like the composition and the DOF. This would go well in the project forum.

    Very nice, DS. I'm debating as to whether or not I like the blue spots of sky, but it's a fine image either way. Very interesting processing.

    Really great image. Something about it appeals to me also. The composition, the colour combination, the dof all great.

    Nice range of old and new, I'd try and add some vignetting to this to bring out the foreground, make the body of the shot more pronounced.

    Don, this one works really well. there is a simple shape to the flow of stems that is mimicked by the flow and shape of the background trees. the bright illumination of the foreground and the subtle light and tone in the bg make this pop in a striking but very simple way. the high ebergy color and light at the bottom seems to work like a foundation.

    the spotty blues areas in the trees as Dray pointed out are about the only thing i'm not sure helps here or takes away.
    either way, this is simple and attractive.
