interesting idea, have you tried black and white? Or sepia maybe? I feel like a high contrast monotone could add a lot to this image. it's a good angle and very detailed shot, the color just doesn't do much for it.

High contrast never adds to black and white. Quality in black and white is based on the range of tones from rich dark blacks to accurate whites, so in this image that is a non-starter.

Keep with colour!
