I love the crop on this. However it looks over-enlarged because of all the round white dotty artifacts and the lay of the fiber on the ground. I know these things because I do it myself.
yes typical example of too much out of camera meddling.. the fibre is my door mat.. i was gonna post him full size no crop.. his legs are quite long... downsized he looked too small so i just did the body crop..
here is the original before crop image..
trog
ps.. i was gonna call it "coming to get ya".. but the speckly artifacts showed up that badly i thought i would take advanatrge of em.. amusing really.. he he
I honestly don't understand why you cropped it so much
It might've looked better if it had originally been so close up but it looks like it got pixely
The cropped image isn't very sharp and the details all get confusing and it's not that great.
You could crop off a little extra background off the sides of the original and that might help it... there wasn't much wrong with the original, I dont think
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
about say 1.5 inches incuding his legs.. the image would have been about a 3 inch across frame-fill.. its a fairly common UK house spider..
the big round speckly parts at the front are (her) jaws i think.. probably covered in fine hair.. the very small six or so round things behind are its eyes..
