    Sox riots

Took this photo at the red sox riots in Kenmore square a few weeks ago. A bit blurry, but well it was almost 1am and its kinda hard to stabilize yourself under teargas and mounted riot police. Regardless, I think the blur adds motion to it, and I like it.

B&W, ISO 400 pushed at 1600. Yellow tone, border, and minor contrasting/leveling in photoshop. Comments/critiques?

I like the shakiness. It adds to the sense of pandamonium and the general sense of action.

I like the blur, also, but I think I'd like a bit less of it. I can see the overall scene, but I want to pick out a few more of the details and I can't. For instance, I would like to see the head of the guy on the horse. And who are the police after? I might like to see a rioter in the shot. But that's not absolutely necessary.

Otherwise, the exposure, the darkness, the graininess, the overall glow, the way the standing policeman is facing/his posture, the shape of the horse ... Very effective.

It is an interesting image, but it dosen't hold my interest on it's own.
The framing works as well as the moition.
    I'd like to see more!
    Keep shooting!
