Great image Emily...I love the tilt of the head and the big catchlights in Sophia's eyes...The tight crop makes this a very intimate portrait..I would leave the crop as is..Only a few small points,,,,it looks a tad too dark on my monitor,,,I would have cloned out what looks like a pillow at the top of Sophia's head..
Nice work Emily..

Jurgen...thanks for your thoughts on this. I'm on a laptop, so I think the images are lighter than they are sometimes...
It's sort of a pillow at the top there...she's in her carseat, so it's the cushion-y top...probably easy to clone out.
Just wanted to chime in here. I didn't even realize she was in her car seat until you pointed it out then I looked in her eyes and saw you silhouetted in the opening of the van door. Way to seize the moment. She looks as though she is being quite patient with you. Great catch.

Thanks Cindy! I wondered if anyone would realize (before saying) that she was in a carseat...I didn't know if the straps would give it away... She just looked so sweet to me at the time, and had just gotten a haircut, so I figured it was a good opportunity...hehe.
