thank you,how would I rectify the cast?in camera of course,without having to use photoshop.

To prevent casts before taking a photo, adjust the "white balance" setting in-camera.

To fix a cast after the photo is taken, use the "colour balance" tool in a computer image-editing program. I don't know which particular program you use, but most will have this tool.

Drag the cyan-to-red bar across toward the red end, until colours start to look better. You could also try any automated color-correcting functions which your software program offers.

3 states,arizona,california,and nevada.it seems that it is the only time I really have any time to take pics is when I am on the road.

The first one definitely has a White Balance problem. I don't know how elements works exactly, but most editing programs have a white balance tool that lets you put an eye dropper on a portion of the image that should be white(not bluish)and will adjust the color accordingly.
