    Something Fishy

    I wish I could say that I took this on some fancy dive trip, but it was at the Maui aquarium (which was pretty cool on its own). C&C welcomed, good, bad, or in-between.

    These type of pics are difficult to take..I think the pic looks great..The crop is good and the detail is good..I love fish tanks (I own three) and I know from my own experience that it is tough getting the right shot through the glass...Good work..

    don't how difficult it is to take...my ex roomie had a small insignificant tank but i used to love watching the fish..


    i have aquarium as my screen saver

    3l & j, thanks for the comments. The conditions here were pretty good for taking shots. The tanks were well lit and the public viewing area was darker. I also tried to get as close to the glass as possible when shooting to eliminate glare. The biggest problem I had was getting a good focus lock on these fish that were constantly moving. I'm very glad to hear that you like the shot. I was a little concerned that it was cropped too tightly.
