Set this up and sent it to a ultra-Republican friend of mine, just to rib him a bit... Told him it was the results of the presidential debates.

Don't know why this THING drops out my files sometimes - trying again.

Some would argue that the wrong cup is still standing, or that you should of shot holes through the fallen cup...lol.

I think the concept is kinda funny, reminds me of the bobble heads, and clay figures boxing.. I can't explain that thought, or how i got to it...

The execution.. The "kerry" cup has a glare right down the center that is kinda distracting
Their placement ( on a table/plain white wall) makes it seem very snapshot'ish.....wish is good for what you were going for ( ribbing your friend) but if you want to take the concept further, as you stated, I would try to get the background a little more out of focus and maybe try for lighting that will give the photo more life.. (Try shooting near an open window?) Good luck Harassing your friend!

Yes, it was rather snapshot'ish. I sort of wanted it minimalist, but it looks ad hoc more than anything. There's always the next election. Maybe between now and then I'll learn to use a digital camera.
