Thanks Devin. My prime motivation here was to get unusual proportions with the horizion line way up in the frame in order to isolate the few buildings. Although I feel satisfied about these proportions, your comment makes me realize that the scene would need a physical element of some sort in the very foreground in order to fill it and add some interest.
