I think they look good , maybe try framing the subject more in the corners.

    Re: some pictures please critique

I like the horse standing up there the best. The others are OK too, but the portrait is every-so-slightly cramped (clipping off his hair at the top) and the bottom horses may have a little too much negative (unimportant) space around them.

    Welcome to the forums btw!

The horses seem to be too centered as well as the horizon.
I think you could crop some of the foreground to put your horizon line at 1/3 of the way up

Personal opinion, of course, but I think that works better.

    Re: some pictures please critique

I like the first action shot riding the horse the best, though I wish I could see the rider's face. The other horse shot doesn't engage the viewer because the horses are not looking up into the camera. I want to make eye contact with them.

If I can suggest to work slower and walk around what you're going to be shooting to look at different vantage points. The picture of the man that you took with the cell phone is cut off at the top and needs to be a bit less centered, otherwise you've captured an expressive grin quite nicely.

Having said all that, PLEASE keep shooting and sharing your work here. I welcome you and look forward to seeing what you're going to show us next.
