Hi Alex, you just upload the images into the thread you open in this forum, chances are you will get more input from the members if you take that approach. Nice images, your winter flowers and the final image (although I am not sure about the title!) work well for me.
Look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
Some very nice textures and compositions. I like those seed heads but wish the angle were a bit different to have all three surrounded by light background. The colored shots seem oversaturated to my eye.
The second and third are my faves. The only thing that I wish we could change on the second is that tree in the middle of the background. It gets in the way of the differentiation between the flower and the sky, allowing us to see the spikes more clearly.
And on the third: There is really nothing for me to pick on. I'm just a contrast/saturation kind of gal, and I want to really warm it up. But that's just due to my loud tastes rather than that the image isn't up to par.
Really like these images. Have to go with the 2nd and 3rd as my favs. I agree with dbutler on the composition thing with the tree in the 2nd one. I just love b/w and sepia prints. The color pics are just as nice. Are you shooting film, @lex, and if so, did you happen to use Velvia for those? The colors just seem to be super saturated.
