    Some HDR attempts

so ive been doing a lot of HDR recently and i wanted some feedback on one of my earlier attempts back in december. I was also working on some borders and im not too sure about these.

    Re: Some HDR attempts

Hi - I quite like this effect. It gives the old bulding an ominous quality. Of the two, I prefer the colour one - the tones suit the subject pretty well I think. I also like very much the wide angle distortion - it adds to the weirdness factor! I would have preferred all of the building though in that one.

I am not sure what HDR means ... can you enlighten me? It makes me inclined to do my own experimentation with a few old buildings around here.

    Cheers
    Mike

HDR is High Dynamic Range..... you can find many sources on the web for those, here's a link that offers enough examples and technique:

Hope this helps Mike... dont forget to try it and post...

afdlips - I like the second one because of the colors...and the fact that the whole building is included... a looser crop would have let the building breathe a bit more.... but that's me being too picky.... great job!

lol...i wish. its on a very public hiking trail. in fact it has a brand new steel roof and it looks stupid at most angles. but... if i were to clip the masterlock on the door then i could go in there.

not at all. cops arent always swayed with the excuse that i was just looking for a good shot.
