    Soda Stand

Shot on Fujifilm Superia Xtra 400 (that's a mouthful)
    Minolta Maxxum 50
28mm prime at f/16, 1/2 sec (or somewhere round there)
    Converted through green channel.

Payne, I think that your compostion is interesting but the picture lack contrast and is quite grainy (I not too sure if it's grain or the result of file compression). Either way, I don't think that it have all the visual impact it could right now.

Payne, as is, this doesn't work well for me either. But, I think it would be great in sepia. JMHO...To me...it has tons of potential.

    Payne,

I like the composition, but its way too grainy for me. Like Seb said, its probably from the JPEG compression and the channel conversion. What settings did you use when you saved this after PP?

I also think this image could use touch of contrast. It would really make the image pop.

    Re: Soda Stand

Thanks for your comments. I am reworking it now. This is a low res film scan from a one hour lab (hence the grain). Great suggestions all, thanks again.
