    Snowy road

    Again...all opinions good or bad are welcome. What could I have done better with the camera and when processing?

    The particulars:
    Camera: 20D
    Lens: Canon 50mm f1.8
    ISO 100, Shutter 1/640, Apeture f7.1

    What to change? Go out and shoot some more !
    Try varying your angle to shoot with more of the black of the trees, to give it some contrast.

    Whoa, that's a lot of snow. Generally I like more contrast with B&W; but it might be my screen as I have not had it calibrated.

    Also, the scene seems to emphasize the road too much? I think the story is in trees so a higher vantage point might be better? Plus, the tire tracks in the road makes me look there instead of the trees. I see the person in the background. I would have given him a larger part in the shot.
