    Snow riding self portrait

It snowed on the weekend and I went out riding, as usual. I always like self portraits, so I decided to try this location on the trail. How do you like it? It's not always easy to get right with the timer.

It is not bad and you are a nice blast of color in a pretty drab setting so that works well. For it to be a really good cycling photo I would like you to be a bit closer to the camera and look like you are moving.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Ha, nice, I like the framing and the forest. I think closer to the camera, and it wouldn't have occurred to me but i think MB1 is right visible movement would be better.
    but then...what do I know

Dave - it's a fun shot. I am not sure all that space at the bottom is necessary though. I'd crop it out just below the bike wheels.

You seem to have several shots here, actually - the branch design(s) are really interesting. Try a few crops, see what you get.

Thanks for the comments. Self portraits arent always easy to get, so I go with the best I can get. The bottom might be a bit empty, but I didnt crop this at all yet. I suppose if I cropped it a bit it may be better.
