    Snow in Basingstoke

    This is a refreshing winter scene. Good composition and perfect exposure. The shadows of the trees and the snow on the branches make this even better.

    Nicely achieved, the exposure is spot on IMO. And the angle of the shot aids the deepness of the perspective.

    Thanks for looking and your comments, just printed it and my wife and daughter love it. It will be in a frame tomorrow and on the wall shortly after.

    I have to own up to cloning out an electricity pylon from the end of the trees.

    I dont know how you could improve this, except perhaps if you could have taken it before the snow got trampled but then the light wouldn't have been so good. Very much a keeper.
