    Sneaking Under Water

From a visit to a botanic garden yesterday ...both my wife and I liked how to bud of another flower seems to be sneaking past the open lotus flower ...any improvements?

No critiques other than the water's apparently colorlessness. It looks a little selective-colorish to me (even though I'm sure that's not what you did). But that's a real nitpick.

I love how the flower just pops. Amazing color and detail.

Thanks for the feedback. Seth, I see your point about the almost selective color look ....since this was taken in an artificial pool, the water color was really almost black ...which does make it a little odd.

    Wonderful color and detail

is this cropped? perhaps there is a bit more space to the left ?
I think the bud underwater is to close to the left edge and there is spare space to the right of the flower

yes, I do have some space on either side ...since I shoot with an APSC sensor ...so I will give it a shot...

The colour grey really makes this shot for me. It's incredible. Well done.

I think the crop is too tight here. If it's just the flower, it wouldn't be. But with that underwater bud, I think you need more room.
