    Smile snapshot at sundown

    hey,
    its been awhile since i posted, well today me and my girlfriend were in the front yard, she was helping me with a photo project for school, when i snapped this pic of her with my tripod, ended up being my favoriot pic of the day.

    Hello Shawn,

    This is (much) more than a snapshot to me. The funny expression of your girlfriend, the livelyness in her eyes, the rays of lights and the background at angle works together to create a dynamic picture. My only complain is that your girlfriend was too centered on your original picture. A crop of some sort is needed here I think. Here is a quick example.

    On a side note, the maximum width (or height) allowed on the critique board for your pictures to submit is 640 pixels. It is a bit too small if you ask me but it allow to quickly and easily see pictures on most monitors. Yours was a bit more difficult to juge at first as I had to scroll to see it entierly...

    Agree with Seb's comments above and really like the light hitting various parts of the shot and the background walkway, very refreshing!
