    Smooth Seas

I took this from a helicopter at The Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament.
    What do you think?

I want your job!!!!! Wait...on second thought...I want his job...hehe...beautiful capture. I love the glassy look of the ocean against the white water of the wake. The deep blue of the sea makes this old salt long for an ocean voyage. To top it off, you were in a chopper and with the vibration, the clarity is exceptional.
I really like it and would love to see some more.

    Re: Smooth Seas

    Hi, Capt'n

Trade jobs with you as well! I like the dramatic tilt to the photo. But the centered boat and angle at which you took this is a bit static. Looks like the standard boat images in the countless boat catalogs in my den. That's good and bad.

Since you were in a helicopter, I would have asked the pilot to move you to a more dramatic, non-standard vantage point. I'm thinking like either from directly behind or directly in front and getting a lot of wake or a lot of open sea. This is a good insurance shot - but go for that extra kick.

    What's a Loupe for anyway?
