I clicked on this because there were 0 replies and expected to see Tommy Chong doing what he is best known for.
What a treat to see such a sharp clear composition of a wwll plane!
I have no critique, but I would suggest slowing the shutter down to let the prop blurr instead of freezing it.
    Kudos,

Mark makes a good point but I think it's a great capture. I love the angle you chose to capture. And the colors are perfect. Well done!

    Re: Smokin'

Thanks guys for the comments. I took a dozen or so shots of this and other WWII war birds at the show. Those shots that had a slower shutter speed, thus a blurred prop, just didn't have the same impact as this where the prop is frozen. To me, there is something about seeing the prop that makes the image more startling knowing what it takes to make this plane fly.

    Thanks again.

Good God, what an excellant capture! This is so close to perfection, hard to believe anyone could capture it.

    Great work!!

    Re: Smokin'

Wow! This is some awesome photo! One of the best I've seen of any small plane. I wouldn't change a thing. You really nailed this one.

I like the under-the-wing design. What does it say/represent? I can't quite make it out - old age. Everything about this shot is great.

I almost didn't look - your Smokin title fooled me.........Do you have any more?

Thanks very much for the very nice comments. I really appreciate it. A couple of comments have asked for equipment, particulars on the shot. I have a Canon Rebel and used a Tamron 28-300 lens. The shot is 1/2000 @ 7.1, ISO was 200.

I do have others, I will pull out a couple more and post.

    Thanks again.

It wasn't a critique, but a suggestion, and you covered that
base and liked this one better.
    Kudos again,
It really is a Jaw dropper.

Only taken as a suggestion. I appreciate the comments very much. I have the 6.3 digital
Rebel. ISO was 200. Thanks again.
