    Slinky Fun (Very safe)

    Experimenting with a slinky. Here is # 1. I'm not sure about the reflection. And yes, I got the idea from a photo mag.



    I need a lot more angles and I really want to get a good shot with color. Suggestions are welcome, please.

    Well, I'm inspired to get my old metal slinky and see how it poses for me. I kind of get a feeling of vibration from the right side.
    mostly Nikon gear

    Looks like coiled plastic tubing. Great idea. The movement on the right is OK with me but better if the rest where sharp. You also have some really blown out coils throughout. Image has a nice mood. I like it.

    I like it ...one idea to consider - I was recently reading a book on BW photography, and it seems (at least in the mind of that author) leaving bright areas around the edges seems to (at least in general terms) take away from the image. That said, consider removing the very bottom of the coil - it is very light there - it may come together a little bit more cohesively ...
