    Skyscrapers in Denver.

I love shooting in denver. I dunno what it is. we saw vomit all over a bench we almost sat on, countless homeless, a man getting busted for trying to tear down a store's brick wall with a screwdriver, and a man in a thong/bikini on a bike. then i looked up and took these.
with my fisheye on my D50 (I'm selling it tomorrow and getting my D80 in the mail!)

I don't want it, I just need it...to breath ...to feel ...to know I'm alive.

Nice perspective. I also favor #2. It really gives you the impression of height.

I like them both but favor #2 also.
I'll pass on the cyclist in a thong bikini but would have liked to see the guy trying to take down a brick wall with a screwdriver.
    Sounds like Seattle.

haha. it was the funniest thing. it was right in the busiest part of the 16th Street Mall, which is just a huge outdoor mall in downtown Denver. 4 cops had him pinned down and he was yelling at them about how the walls werent "structurally sound" and that they "needed to come down" and we saw his screwdriver next to him. my camera was packed away, so i didnt snap anything.

Both are great, The crop works well. I wouldn't mind seeing a color version though and congrats on the camera upgrade.

    # 2 is best, has more character.

I think that it would be better though if the sky was more exciting.

It's a good candidate for a local equalization PP effect. If you dont have the software to do so, I could run it and repost (let me know).

Actually, I sort of wish you posted some shots of the funky situations you described instead (LOL)

Afdlips - Well, didn't quite come out as well as I hoped it would. I think it might work better for color images. Perhaps clean, smooth lines are best for contemporary building scenes?
