    Skyscraper-Manhattan

This shot was an instance that I thought HDR would work well bring out the beauty on this steel high-rise and I believe the final result shows that it did. Three photos at 10 sec, 20 sec, and 30 second exposures at F/22 were combined to create this image.

    Comments and critiques welcomed.

I like it but I'm one of only three fans worldwide of HDR I actually can't do it well but enjoy seeing what folks get out of it. Is there anyway to avoid the "haloing" around the edges of the buildings though?

The Haloing on my screen isn't very noticeable but maybe my screen isn't as bright or contrasted enough to see it. That can easily be taken care of with cloning but I didn't notice it while editing due to the screen. Thank you for pointing that out for me tho. Is the haloing noticeable to anyone else?

Yeah it does stand out quite a bit Dave, detracts slightly from interesting shot. Is the unusual shape of that building lens related or was the architect's cad program suffering from a virus....

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

haha no the shape of the building must have something to do with the architect's CAD program. It was the strange shape of the build that caught my eye over other more traditionally square structures in Manhattan. I will work on the Haloing in PS when I get a chance and post an updated version.
