Not too bad with the sharpness given that you were shooting through a window. Though not a bird photog, I think that this isn't bad...you've got him at a great angle, and the DOF is pretty good. That white spot on the neck is pretty blown out, so I might try some adjustment in ps to get some detail there.

I was immediatly attracted because I have an on-line acquaintance whose name is sky-rat.

I, too, like the position of the bird.
I would crop the right side up to the post but don't cut off the tail.

This is quite sharp to be taken through a window... at first I thought you just used a really bad lens . You can try sharpening the image a bit.

Not a bad shot but like you said the sharpness it just a tad weak. I think if the wooden end of the fence wasn't just behind him like that that it would be so much cleaner too. But birds never let you pose them
