Composition and framing looks good. I like the sky to the left and the street coming in from the left to the right of the frame. And the overhang on the top sort of frames it nice

Nice shot. I like the monochrome appearance of the upper half against the color of the lower.

Not to be critical, but something about this one isn't quite right IMO. I can't put my finger on it but I think it's the greyish color of the overhang, which when reflected off the glass also creates a large dark shape that visually splits the frame from top to bottom. My eye sort of gets dragged into the dark areas instead of around the architecture of the structure.

    Hello Yoyo,

You are using your 15mm lense quite intensely which is great. I like the point of view and the colours. The architecture of the building is quite attractive (from your angle at least). What is it?

I don't know if it's my eyes that are tricking me but somehow I perceive a strange lost of definition where the glass wall and the overhang rejoin. I don't know if it is some sort of optical illusion but I have thought that it would worth to point this out.

    regards

    Seb

Hi Gary, Thanks for the comment as always.

Hi Chunk, Thanks for the comment.

Hi PJ, Thanks for pointing out the weakness of the shot.

Hi Seb, Yes, I am using the 15 mm quite a lot. The building is the Convention & Exhibition Centre. More info is here at http://www.aiachicago.org/special_fe...inners/02.html.
    All the best.

Hi Yoyo, shots of buildings not usually my cup of tea but this one impresses me. For you i like your shots of people and the places they live in. You are good at these and i always have a look to see what you are at. Be good.
