This gives a nice impression of the boats movement, but looks as though it's been heavily cropped . There are rather obvious artifacts around his head and body.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Thanks for your comments. The scull has been only masked, head and body are are both in relative motion with the scull.
    Best regards.

I really like the feel of this. What would really bring me in is if it were wider. A lot more surroundings which would make the skiff smaller in a big environment.

    Pedro -

It has nice horizontal lines and smooth tones. However, I think it may be too centered both vertically and horizontally. I think that centering it in one plane can be OK, but not two. I also would prefer for there to be a little space in front of where the boat is moving.

I also see a slight halo around his head, though I am not sure if that's due to processing or movement (or even a little lens flare)? I do like the burst of light above him - to me, it adds some pizazz to the shot. Interesting matte, but not sure it 100% works with the strong horizontal lines.

    Re: Skiff

Beautiful photo, Pedro. I agree with Frog in that i would like to see this a bit wider that included more sea and not cropped so tightly. Including a bit more environment can be a good thing many times.

I too see artifacts, and having looked through some of your other photos it appears your post processing can be a bit on the heavy handed side. Very nicely done, hope to see more of your work here.
