    some suggested convert them into black and white so here you go.

    Much better! These work, #1,3 & 4 in particular. Thre could be some scope for a bit of dodging and burning but overall the black and white makes the scene a lot more serious in some way and gives a colder feel making the attempted tricks a lot harder (IMO anyway!!)

    The backgrounds still bother me. The figures don't pop out of the background for my taste.

    Perhaps if you used a slower shutter speed and panned with the action........
    No, I DON'T need that.

    okay so maybe make them have a motion blur and make the backgroung just as blurry just like a NFL pic.? any suggestionswho to do this. slow down shutter and close the aperture?
    My F-stopson my les is 3.5- 5.6
    Would it be better if I use my 50mm lens that has a 1.8? I need to up grade it cause is an old manual lens .,I got dirt cheap.
