My initial reaction to #1 is too much background and too little skater. #2 doesn't have that problem, but the downward angle and backside view don't quite work, IMHO.

I prefer the 1st one X. It almost looks like he's riding those electrical wires above. I wish you included a bit more of the top ot the image. To atleast above the arch of the first lamp post which is being cut off here.
