    2 landscapes

    hello

Please, judge these two landscapes. Don't mind about colours. Mind the idea and composition. Thanks for your comments.

The first one doesn't do anything at all for me! As far as the second one I would crop off the top half of the picture and the left side to just before the first bush or tree you come to from the left that is near the house that has a telephone pole near it, Jeff

well i'm the opposite the second doesn't do much ,its too far that shows no detail,as for the first one there can be more potential, you mentioned the color,i'm assumming you know whats wrong there,so on to the next the first one shows some texture in the fields as rows in the crop, giving striaght lines and colors of the field the tree helps to give it a sense of depth but you really need to get closer to that field and forget about the golden field in front, especially it giving you that sloping line field, thats the distracting part,it draws our eyes to the edge of the field and propels to follow it down, you want that tilt feeling try getting close to the tree focus on it and then deliberatly tilt your camera to exaggerate the fields level, while the tree stands straight, this is my opinion, change your white balance to get rid of the over powering green effect.
