    Emily,
Your girls are beautiful! I love the way their hair blends together at the top and frames the shot and the playful peek-a-boo look of your daughter. Interesting depth of field though. I see very clear detail in the hands but not so much in the eyes of your oldest. Is this by design or just wiggly girls?

Hey CLK...thank you! I think they're beautiful, but then I'm the mom, so I kind of have to...hehe.
As to the depth of field...I wasn't so much going for the focus on the hands, although I don't mind it...I more was trying to make sure Sophia's eyes were in focus (the baby). Because Julianna is behind her, peeking out...I don't mind that she's a little fuzzier...does that work or no?

    Re: Sisters

For me, not so much. Since Juliana is the one who's eyes are engaged and the baby is looking away it is a little distracting. Choosing Sophia's other eye as the focal point might have spread your DOF to Juliana as well but still held the tiny details for the baby like eyelashes, etc. Still what this image says most to me is HUGS! Nice one.

Ah...ok. Well, that does make sense.
