    I don't know what it is either. But I like how you placed it on the right side. The swimmer and fisherman adds a good element to the picture. It looks as though you need to sharpen it some. A better sky would help, clouds. If you could return to this later.

    Well obviously it's some sort of ufo. Duh.

    I agree, a better sky, but disagree about the people. I'd like to see them completely gone. Your horizon is slightly tilted as well.

    Great colors though, and certainly an interesting subject.

    At a guess (and it's only a guess) it's some sort of thing for offloading grain etc from small ships. I've seen similar things in places where there was no deep water harbour but where small ships could come pretty close into the beach.

    I'd be curious if anyone could confirm this.
