    Singing for Supper

We ate lunch near this pond full of Koi and every time we came near, they would gather around like we were going to feed them. I'm guessing the signs saying "Don't Feed the Fish" were doing too much good because these guys were certainly trained to look for food from people passing by .

As for the shot, help me get better and tell me what works and what doesn't.

    Thanks,

    PC

    Re: Singing for Supper

Hi there .. the main problem (as I suspect you know) is the leaf. If you get the chance, go back and take a whole bunch. With images of that sort, the way the fish arrange themselves is what makes the picture or not. There is a lot of potential though if you can get them posing like that without distractions.

    Cheers

I agree with Mike. Of course we don't know how many you took but its a shot that lends itself to taking hundreds and then picking The One.

P - I think this particular shot would benefit from a large format. Or you could zoom into that bubble-blowing center fish there, he seems to steal the shot. Good 'catch'

Thanks for the comments. I agree that the leaf is distracting. Unfortunately, I didn't take that many shots and I don't think the others had any bubbles - which I really like.

Those pesky leaves! Nice shot anyway. I agree about the bubbles, I like them.
My kids think I have one big round eye and a light on my head!
