A simple red rose and little girl

Taken between set-ups last night, the daughter of one of the models.

They are both outstanding Jet , the girl & rose is my pick of the two. Is that bokeh or a gaussian blur added to the girl ? If a blur have you tried different amounts ?

Creatively beautiful work. the image with the girl in the bg really works and gives the rose much more value and meaning than it in itself. Nicely done

I like both , on the first the reflection really adds to the image

and the second with the girl is great!! the green color of her blouse matches perfectly, like an extension of the leaves

Lovely work. The blue light reflecting off the leaf is a beautiful touch. And I love the subject's pose in the second one.

The second shot was one of those happy accidents, she just happened to be in the right place at the right time with the right shirt on, totally unplanned, but when I saw it unfolding, I had to give it a try - nobody worried about the clipped reflection in the second?
