    Silhouettes

    Blue one is changed with hue and lots of blue in color blue.
    Green one is changed just by hue.
    other is inverted.
    {first two remind me of the early ipod commercials}
    Opinions? thanks.

    Re: Silhouettes

    Again, interesting. The colors I like though they feel very over the top but I suspect that's what you're shooting for. It looks like a guy on a small skateboard ramp with another guy videotaping from the platform with a boom mike attached to his hat. Just a guess. If it is a skater though I would like to have seen some detail from the board in the silhouette just to clarify just the tip and first set of trux would suffice.

    yea the attachment on the camera is connected to the tripod mount and is handmade. it is just to get cool angles while riding a skateboard or anything of that sort it also has controls on it for the camera.
    thanks

    Re: Silhouettes

    I like the first one the best. As long as you are working with the colors I'd suggest trying to get the lower lighter part of the sky to be more golden or orangish which would compliment the beautiful blue even more.

    Re: Silhouettes

    I still like the first one best. The guy on the left looks much sharper and is well framed in that shot. I really don't care too much for the guy on the right specially with that thing sticking out of his head. I think if you cropped off the guy on the right totally, you'd be left with a great action/ silhouette/ abstract sorta image. I really like the dude on the left and how he's against the clouds and deep blue skies. Also the light pole at the bottom left and the bushes add a nice little touch to this. And yes the first thing that popped in to my mind after seeing your first two images was iPod.

    Neat shots. A little cramped at the top of the frame though. Not sure if I like the left-side wall, but it's another shape to feast on. I personally like Chunk's edit the best. The others are fun expts.

    Btw, nice job freezing the movement. I don't see any blur at all.

    Re: Silhouettes

    Love the first one, but the others start to become too digitally manipulated for my taste. No blur on the silhouette, which is great, and a nice composition of them.

    Well done,

    Jared
