    Silhouetted

Another photo from the model shoot. Don't know how important the model is here cause the sky steals the show (?)

    Re: Silhouetted

The sky may steal the show but the model compliments the setting and scene well. The hint of the bikini, sunglasses, and neck piece are alright, but I'd consider casting her in even more solid silhouette. The shape and orientation of the model is what works more than the detail. Without her, it is just another good sun on the horizon with clouds.

    Re: Silhouetted

She does add to an interesting sky and scene. I like her placement and pose. i think it could have been good with her a bit larger in the shot, perhaps zooming more and filling more of the frame with her, but I think it's pretty good as it is.

The model is a great inclusion here but I feel her pose looks as though she is waiting/expecting to be photographed. Had she been just walking casually into/out of the scene then I think you would have had a better shot.

    Re: Silhouetted

Personally, I get rather bored with pretty sunsets without a foreground element of some kind whether it be a model, a building, or some object of interest so I say, too, that the model adds to the shot, not distracts.

might be my computer but it seems a bit flat and grey. I think a bump in color/sat would help. I also think she should be all black vs. showing her bikini.....

I am just a beginner but I think that is a beautiful shot.I like everything about it especially the way the sun rays are and I like the hint of the bikini.

    Re: Silhouetted

ChowChi-Ching, Drg - I didn't even notice the hint of her bikini showing through there. Here's another version with her a little darker. I made it slightly more saturated.

Frog, Drg - I agree, not a bad landscape shot but there are just so many of them. A lot of the time ,I feel that the foreground is neglected in shots like this. Adding something that works is the challenge.

Gary - I wish I had did a shot of her bigger in the frame against this sky. I will check again soon but I do not think I did

Tom - That was definitely the type of model she is - direct, posed, right in. Some models lean that way while others are better at the subtle photographs.

    Troy - Thanks too.
