Signs of spring!

The moss is growing on my front porch brick stairs again! Its a neat photo, but I don't know if I like it or not. It seems harsh to the eyes, but at the same time, interesting to study and look at.. Please provide your thoughts! Thanks!!

I think this photo works better with more details and hence I'd suggest increasing the depth of field.
