    the siege ( part 1)

    2nd atempt at taking photos of the band called THE SIEGE ( www.thesiege.co.uk)

    I like the first image better than the second even though the second is much shaper. Better emotion and composition in the first plus I like that bluish spot light behind him.

    I don't really need a concert pic to be technically perfect.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I am with MB on this on. I like the color treatment, composition and mood of the first. The guy in the background on the second one hurts it with the lead singers elbow in his head. You really did well with the lighting on them all. May I ask what you shoot and what was your settings?

    i shoot with a canon eos 400d ( rebel xti ) and took i used 50mm f1.8 lens
    and the setting were

    photo 1. iso 1600 f1.8 and 1/30sec

    photo2. iso 1600 f1.8 and 1/80sec

    do you think the first photo would look better with removal of the drummer and a little crop?
