    Sideline catch

Any thoughts or comments on this shot. I took this during my son's first freshmen game of the season.

Nice job! Composition is strong, the exposure is great, and the focus is right on. What was your exposure settings, lens used? etc.

    Re: Sideline catch

Thanks jdugger and Jim. My settings were f4 at 1/1600 at ISO 100. I use the Minolta 7D, which has a max shutter release of 1/4000 and with the white jerseys it was reading faster that the 1/4000 at f2.8 so I changed it to f4. Though yesterday my new toy came in. I just purchased a new Canon 1D Mark IIn with a 70-200 f2.8 "L" IS lens. Can't wait to get it out on the sidelines.
