    Shots from a paintball field.

    Got bored the other day at my friends kickboxing training and decided to go across the street to the paintball fields to see if i could get a few good shots.

    Here's are the results...

    I can only tell you that the subjects in all of these are not strong enough to hold my interest. the exception being the flower shot in the link, although that could use a crop from the right as there is alot of empty space in there. Lighting is very important in bringing out texture, contrast, color and I think perhaps the lghting in these it what is hurting the most.

    I would have to agree: while they are good from an experimental angle, the lack of strong subject and very limited Depth of Field weigh against them. My favorite here is actually the last one t 1.jpg - the webbing across the wood beams seems neat to me. It's darkness is interesting, almost like a Halloween shot, but it might be too dark to really pull you in, for it doesn't provide enough color or detail to hold your interest.

    Anyway - a worthy experiment. Hope this critique helps. GB

    I like the 4th photo as well, the darkness and specific subject matter make it seem deep and mysterious.
