    Shooting a shooter

    Taken during a brief sunny afternoon at Cannon Beach, Oregon Coast. Not sure about the exposure but i liked the comp...comments welcome

    Too much sky.

    I'm thinking a tighter crop is a good idea here.

    I don't think there is too much sky but it also wouldn't hurt to crop to just below the blue part.
    I don't know but might help to darken highlights a bit.
    Nice composition.

    Interesting how the blow out in this shot gives it an artsy look. I love the reflection of the guy but would crop out all below his reflection and would crop out the top portion of the sky actually turning this into a landscape perspective rather than portrait.

    As the others have said, I see a great photo, but it is trapped within this one. My suggestion would be to crop down to the main cloud line and up to the super light glare, losing enough of the left to maintain the 4/3 aspect ratio.

    This post has also inspired me to start a new thread in viewfinder - "capture a stranger" has been hugely successful, so maybe "capture a photographer" will enjoy similar success
