This is a pleasing simple shot. I like the contrasting colors and angles of the shoes and the shape of the negative space between the legs and shoes. I think it need a levels adjustment to give it a full range of values and maybe curves adjustment a little as well.
I think this crop strengthens the composition by moving the tension point where the shoes meet off center and breaks up the large negative space above and around the shoes into more pleasing shapes.
    Nice work.

Just buy BW ones and dye the white parts tan? Just a suggestion from a really old uncool chick seems the most logical anyway till you find the real thing...

LOL! When I first scrolled down to see this picture, the angle and the baginess of the pants, made me think... um... well.. let me put it this way " we REPRESENT, the Lollypop Kids, The Lollypop Kids....."

very Urban / Teen Feel. Think i like them Red better though, they seem to pop out more.

( oh and I thought the same thing "She was Holding the camera still this time and Had better lighting" )

    Urban chic?

Good simple idea. I like the worn appearance of the sneakers. I also like what Chunk has done - tight crop and a little added contrast. I would suggest cropping even tighter on the left side - possibly eliminating the brick (?) part of the flooring. And, I would leave it in color and red.

OUCH. lol Lollypop kids. Im 5'4 compared to all the boys i hang out wth....yes i am a lollypop kid haha. I had natural lighting of course, basically having to buy artifical lighting other than my bathroom or room light...is way to much crap for me . I like the natural light of the sun, which is probably why this phot turned out so well. As for adjusting the contrast...it makes the red seem too ...red. They are supposed to be worn, and the red is supposed to be faded. If the shots not there ...its not. And i may think its a shot, but i post on here and grab so more ideas...like i was saying somewhere else, im verynew at PS so if anyone wants to help tell me Thanks so far tho, i am REALLY proud of the "10 second shot" hehehhe

No Ouch! My comment had nothing to do with YOUR height! I just meant that the way the pant leg is Sooo baggy on your right leg, (combined with the cropping) makes it kinda look short...lol.. sorry. I'm not an amazon woman, ya know... It was nothing personal, it was about the pants and thats *all* lol.. Wanna hear something funny/cute? My sister-in-law said she was having problems finding pants that fit my 4 year old neice, then the next time I saw her she had pants on, and I said, " oh did she grow a couple of inches? you found pants? " She said, " Rachel.........Those are CAPRI's........"

what could i say? But "oh"
