    Shoelights - Holga

Taken by the light leak and the disarray in the way these shoes are presented.....Does this do anything for you?

Yeah! I was wondering when you'd post something new.
I like this, I like the repeating shapes of the shoes and the reapeating lines.
Glad to see you sre still out and about!

The pairs of shoes are interesting, especially with a lone shoe at the bottom shelf. I'm just not feeling good about the purplish flare that has occured near center left and the blurry focus on the shoe at bottom right.

Don't know, seems a little too busy to me. Perhaps if you cropped it to show only the bottom two levels, and was a little sharper.

Hope this doesn't sound too critical, but although I know the Holga presents some different effects and that is the point, the blue glare pretty much reduces the shot down to looking like a mistake or an expt. That's what the average viewer will probably take from it. Sorry, but as they say, it is what it is.

    Re: Shoelights - Holga

    Hi,

Thank you all for your input, overall, I think that the word 'experiment' is the right one for this shot! I was trying to take a scene that wasn't a typical holga type scene and this one grabbed my attention because of the flare.

Thanks again, hope to get some more images up in due course.
