    Shedding Light

All critique and comments appreciated. This one is in the mixed bag of doubt.

Yep, i would say that I have some mixed feelings on this one as well.
I like the trees across the street with the twisty trunks and branches lit up well. The volkswagon is looking alone and isolated and it works in that way.
I'm feeling that the car entering the scene on the left is taking away from the mood, and the barrier fence in front of the bug is adding clutter and blocking view. Not really there in a way that adds.

Pretty much its the car on left and the fence that are giving me trouble here.

Oooo looks like a modern ghost town. I like the gloomy and muted colors, gives a very desolate feel. Ghosts of eras past. Yep, that was me, being a dork...I'd have to say the trees keep calling my attention. I'm not sure whether I like the car, if taking it away would make you keep searching for something to focus on.
Nonetheless I think this is a fascinating photo

Do you own that VW? I swear it's in every one of your photos.

I just don't like the light trails, only negative I have with this one. Fence doesn't bother me too much (I thought it was a bike rack.) Actually now that I look closer at it the VW is fairly soft towards the front, or maybe that's just the lighting from the store.
