Nice job. Kind of tuft to get creative with on stage performers like this they are always above you and looking out over top of you. The stage lighting gave you some very interesting effects and helped give your image that extra ump that makes a good photo.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks. I don't worry too much abourt creativity in nthese instances, just getting the shots for the client. The funky stage lighting always makes for some fun images. Should be fun the rest of the weekend. I shoot Pat Benetar tonight, Buddy Guy and Cheap Trick tomorrow night and Ted Nugent Saunday night. Hope I can remember what I did with my earplugs for that one. Thanks for loooking!
Over the years I think the stage lighting has improved and so has the camera technology. These images look good both in brightness and contrast. Nice photos, show some of the others if you get a chance.

Damn you ... just joking - man, you get to shoot some of the artists I grew up listening to ... I'm jealous, I never seen any of those bands live (though I met Buddy Guy once but missed his show this summer). The stage lighting looks wonderful, I love the sharpness of the first pic - I rarely get anything sharp with two or more artists in the frame - what was your settings on that first shot? The 3rd one looks kind of soft. I really like the last shot as well.

Aren't you the lucky one. I would love to have an assignment like your weekend. Of the four you posted the upper left and lower right are nicely done with focus and lighting in good shape. The other two have focus issues. Please post some of the shots you get from the weekend.
Does make for a fun but stressful weekend. Some of my shots weren't the greatest as we were only allowed in the pit for three songs before we had to scramble. With the tricky lighting and slow shutter speeds I was happy with what I got. The two that are a bit fuzzy were the only shots I got of those girls as they didn't sing lead on the first few songs so i tried to get any shots of them I could. Oh well, I guess if it was easy anybody could do it.
