    Sharp edge on a petal

    Hi Folks,
    My first post Found this crop (no other PP), among my first DSLR shots.
    not sure but it feels like art. What do you think?

    I am not real good at flower shots, but I think here I would crop the green are at the bottom and some of the left side. I like the soft light and shadows. Did you shoot Jpeg or Raw?

    I think you're right, a bit heavy at the bottom. It was my first time out with the camera, so I left it in default, and shot it in Av like I did in 35mm.........so Jpg. I shoot only raw now, just getting used to digital.
    my wife is handycapped so most outings are to botanical parks and Dr offices. I just shoot what I can find in what light I'm in. Takes some getting used to.
