An interesting shot Emily. Did you see it coming and wait for the composition?
I think it would be a bit stronger if the plane were in better focus. I thought it was a fluffy little cloud at first. Now go back and do a reshoot.
Nicely caught and composed. I agree with Chunk, you must re-shoot to get the plane more in focus :lol

Lol!!! Okay, I'll schedule it with the hawk and plane, and repost it. This is one shot I'll never be able to blow up, because the plane is much more evident with a smaller size pic...heh.
This wasn't a deliberate shot (I'm always sheepish to admit that...lol!)...I was trying to zoom in on the bird, and when I uploaded the pics, I cropped according to both "birds". Actually, the other day, when I was looking for eagles, there were helicopters above as well, and I caught a shot of an eagle, seagull and helicopter...but unfortunately, it just wasn't very clear...oh well!
Nice, Emily. I agree about the plane, but it is ok. The shot is still a good one without the plane. You could leave it it or clone it out. The negative blue space of the sky and sharpness and placement of the bird is good.
Great concept, even if technically the shot falls short. Don't let that detract you though, having seen this, and having taken it no matter what the end result, are a credit to you.
I agree with everything they said and then some! Emily, you're becoming quite the wild woman! Your bird shots are just getting better and better. Anow how cool is this???
