Hello Yoyo
I can imagine a full size version of this would be a stunner becauce the people, sharing the view with all the buildings behind them, would take on more significance. I think I recognise the area from previous shots too. (correct me if I'm wrong).

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
Agreed, I'd like to see a higher resolution shot of this, I usually post mine in the gallery and then post them in critique.
Your black and white shots never cease to impress me, but this one definately needs to be full screen for me, as a small shot, I would tend to crop it but this looks like it's meant to be seen big.
Hi Tom and Mr Yuck,
Thanks for the comments. I have posted a bigger version at http://gallery.photographyreview.com...&ppuser=186884. Tom, you are right. I have taken photos in the same place before. Good memory!

I'm sure that this looks excellent in print but even with the bigger version my monitor can't do this justice.
My only critique is that I would like to see a bit more space above the tower which is clipped.

Before I read the other comments, I was thinking the same thing about not seeing the detail here enough for the picture to have more significance than the pleasing overall aesthetiic of the composition and b&w. I agree with Roger about having a bit more space above the tower, but that is a nit and can easily be adjusted in PS if you felt the same. A great point of view, Yoyo.
Exposure is a problem in that there is a lot of lost detail in the black areas. The use of black and white makes it a rather drab image lacking in focus and impact.
Moving in closer, focusing on a particular centre of interest and using colour would have been helpful.
