    Shadow Spirit 1100

Hubby just bought a new bike and I was taken some pictures of it, I love his bike. I want to get some more interesting angles of it but will have to try for a nicer day......... what do you think of this picture? It seems really jaggedy(sp?) but it must be due to compression because it is not like that in my original.

I think the jagged line effect is due to the compression...it's one of those unknown things about jpeg's. I like this picture minus for the lackluster colors...maybe black and white would work well. I love the DOF on here and having the stereotyped "farm" scene behind is a great addition.

I love this picture, just the color is off for me!

    Well done!

What Jared said! At first, I thought that a shallower dof would have been nice but I now think that it is alrirght as it is. I can figure out the background yet it isn't distracting.
You simply need a better and warmer lighting. As for future shots, I'd try close-up on some specific features of the bike. This is at least what I try to do when shooting vehicules.
