    Shades with an Attitude

This was taken on a shoot that I organized for friends. I gave them a sample crash course on modelling photography.
In the end, they enjoyed it and some of them enrolled in a one on one mentoring program that I do in Los Angeles Area

Very good, as always. Do make any special adjustments for the reflection off of the sunglasses?

All three in this set are very good. I like the low camera angle, it works in bringing a sense of strength and stature to the subject as well as emphasizing the atitude in this concept.
I like the reflections on the glasses except for the subject left side in number 1 and 3.
Skin texture looks a bit too smooth but in print it would likely show up a bit better as i can def see some there.
Really looking good. Very polished and well done by all involved here.

one note, the corners of the frames have some discoloration/vignetting and banding going on. Intentional? Unless there is specific reasoning for it I would clean it up.
    Top notch work, really.

thanks Gary. the vignetting is the light falling off.... I tried cleaning it up and made it all white ... and it didn't look good to me. I think I've been doing white a lot and anything like shadows and vignettes make it a bit more interesting to me.

I saw the banding, too, and wondered what that was.

Agree with Gary on pretty much everything. I like the somewhat illustrated quality of the slightly overly-smoothed skin, though, for these images.

    Great video.

So, back to a previous topic... what airline would you prefer?

I like the first one. But I would prefer to see the complete arms, elbows etc. The strong red lipstick really helps to showcase the attitude.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

All are very good. Her skin is a tad smoothed out for me, esp on the face. But I think this is subjective. Congrats on not getting terrible reflections in her glasses. The top image is fine with her arm out of the frame IMO, not so much w/ the middle one. Great lighting and backdrop.

    Great job as always

There are some light lines with obvious contrast difference on her right arm ? I see it where the light changes to shadow, maybe my monitor ?
